I started in 1972 working for a localrefinery. We would go pick the asbestos up after shells. We weren’t learnt how to doit. So, we were picking it up cool. We’d only dust ourselves off with the air hose –which blew it right in our face. I had been upset a little bit about mybreathing trouble. The latency period of “time of exposure” to the time I had indications were about to right — 30 -3 five years. Knowing what I do know about asbestos, it’s time to get it checked.
